Sd Kfz 251/1 D and C - Finished

After several games of Battlegroup Kursk I came to realise that trucks are dangerous to be in and whilst a halftrack isn't going to be amazing protection it is about twice as good

I have both C and D variants because that is what I had built

Dragon Ogre Shaggoth

After spending quite a lot of time flicking though the Warriors Of Chaos book deciding which "big thing" I wanted in my chaos army, I finally settled on a Dragon Ogre Shaggoth.....I went into GW and bought.....honestly I did....its 100% NOT lined with drugs...

 

 

Again, as with the Chaos Ogres I couldn't get the flesh right....so I'm not happy with that...but on the whole it looks ok. Just need to finish the base and then onto something new.

Chaos Ogres

After Lordy helped my kit bash some Chaos Ogres before Xmas I finally got around to getting them done.

On the whole I am very happy with them, couldn't get the flesh to quite go the way I wanted but I think the added extras on the ogres make up for them.

I got a chance to use the new GW technical paints....the blood effect, which is very nice.
Effectively its red paint but it stays tacky and shiny...and I also used the rust effect, which I am a big fan of...a bit of washing and adding a few flicks of silver really gives it a good rust look.
