Buncha Nobz!!

Rebasing continues, this time some ancient nobz from 25mm to 40mm.

I was worried they'd be a little swamped by the 40mm size but I think they're looking alright.

Should probably touch up the paint chips before they go back in the foam 🤔 

Little Red Dune Buggy

When rumours of the new ork codex had generic warbuggies returning, I got excited!

Dusted off (literally) this venerable pair and added new bases.

Back in the day these little beauties would around the table blowing up stuff they had no right to, punching well above their weight!

Whilst it hasn't quite worked out quite as expected they will be perfect proxies for the updated wartrakk profile.

Back to zooming and blowing stuff up!

Might add some extra rokkits, one day...

 It's not just 40k getting some base conversion action, WFB/old world is getting in on it too!

I've been slowly working on some new boar boyz that are on the new base sizes but they'll need a proper leader on a proper sized, right!?

More sand needed....

Update, finished the test bases.

Cygor brown contrast over the sand, mournfang brown drybrush with averland sunset light drybrush. Static grass and more mournfang for the rim, to match my modern colour choice 

Does the job and not too time consuming...

Just the couple hundred to go...

Base ic Life Skills

 Sooo, I've started rebasing my orks to more modern sizes of base.

I'm mostly using base converters from hobby heaven, plop your old base model into the converter, sized up i

n seconds.

The tricky bit is going to be trying to match the basing material to the old version.

Here's some boyz to test out how easy this part will be!

Sand added to the wider base part.

You can see a small dip between the old and new base, nothing a bit more pva and sand or strategic static grass wouldn't fix!

I will be painting the sand to blend with the old material and adding more grass.

Fingers crossed it all works out...

 In celebration of the recently revealed marine captain on bike and upcoming change in rules for marines (toughness 5!!), here's a pic of some nearly completed outriders.

In an ever expanding world of games we added star wars legion to our list.

Great game which generally comes down to the final turn/moves to find victory...or not.
